Bibliography managament for marine mammalogists

We have chosen Papyrus as our Bibliography Manager. There are many unique features which distinguishes this application.
Personal Bibliography Managers or Reference Managers are modified database applications. They list references from your own archive but also from other sources. Each reference contains name(s) of the author(s), title of the work, and bibliographical information to get in touch with the original publication.
Scientists use such programs to write their manuscripts. Bibliography Managers help with citing other articles.

A good reference manager also helps, when there's a question to answer. You enter some search strings and the application finds all related articles.
Additionally Papyrus can reference emails, webpages, movies, and pictures and many more media types. That's one of the reasons that Papyrus is claimed Knowledge Manager of its makers. To learn more about Papyrus you can read our review.


There are two Papyrus databases available for your downloading pleasure. First, the Digital Bibliography of Marine Mammal Science Publications and second the Digital Bibliography of Aquatic Mammals Publications. Both are Journals which focus on marine mammals.
